Alex Swensen

As a graphic design and photography student in college, I developed an interest in the label artwork of the beers on the shelves of the local package store and began collecting them. My interest evolved to focus on the beer behind the label as I found myself enthralled with the complexity and variety of sensory experiences in the brew itself. I assess beers based on my ability to recommend them to others, not to expose every flaw and criticize every decision the brewmaster makes. I believe in celebrating beer and providing my family, friends, and anyone curious about the product I am so passionate about with information or constructive recommendations based on my training and personal experiences.
