During the 2013 NFL Season, former Steelers player, Josh Miller and I, completed a journey that took us to 100 Pittsburgh Steelers restaurants and bars. During the incredible journey we documented the unique personalities that define one of the largest and most passionate fan bases in the world – Steelers Nation. The resulting book, Always a Home Game: A Journey through Steelers Country in 140 Days, has been a huge success. The main benefit from this trip was that we enjoyed over 75 unique, local, Craft Beer selections from around the country. On our book signing tours, I spend more time taking about the beer and less about the Steelers fans. I am now embarking on a new quest, to be come a Certified Cicerone (R).
